China Trunnion Mounted Ball Valve with Worm Gear - High-Performance Factory Suppliers for Industrial Applications
1. Operation is Effortless
The sphere is supported by upper and lower bearings, reducing friction and eliminating the huge sealing load caused by the imported pressure pushing the sphere against the sealing seat, which results in excessive torque.
2. Reliable Sealing Performance
The PTFE single-component material sealing ring is embedded in the stainless steel valve seat. The metal valve seat tail end is equipped with a spring to ensure sufficient preload. When the sealing surface wears out, the spring ensures continued good sealing performance.
3. Fireproof Structure
To prevent the PTFE sealing ring from burning up due to sudden heat or fire, a fireproof sealing ring is set between the sphere and the valve seat. If it burns out, the spring pushes the valve seat onto the sphere, forming a metal-to-metal seal.
4. Automatic Pressure Relief
When the pressure in the valve chamber of the medium becomes abnormally high and exceeds the spring's preload, the valve seat retreats and detaches from the sphere, achieving automatic pressure relief. Afterward, it automatically retracts.
5. Drainage Pipeline
Both the upper and lower parts of the valve body have drainage holes to check for leakage. During operation, middle chamber pressure can be released to replace packing, or discharge accumulated substances to reduce medium pollution.
Trunnion mounted ball valves typically feature two types of body structures: two-piece and three-piece designs, which are securely connected by bolts at the middle flange.
The seal utilizes enhanced polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) embedded in a stainless steel ring. A spring is positioned behind the steel ring to ensure the valve seat remains tightly attached to the ball, even as the sealing surface wears out over time.
The sphere is supported by upper and lower PTFE bearings, which significantly reduces friction. This design eliminates the huge sealing load normally caused by imported pressure pushing against the sealing seat, thereby preventing excessive operating torque.
Yes, it features a fireproof structure. If the primary PTFE sealing ring burns out during a fire, the spring force quickly pushes the valve seat onto the sphere to form a metal-to-metal seal, preventing large leakages.
The valve has an automatic pressure relief function. If the chamber pressure exceeds the spring's preload, the valve seat automatically retreats from the sphere to release the excess pressure, then retracts once normal pressure is restored.
The drainage holes allow operators to check for valve seat leaks, release middle chamber pressure to safely replace packing, and discharge accumulated substances to minimize medium pollution.
